What are some lessons that life teaches you?

The six lessons that life has taught me are very realistic. 1. Don't stop making money and saving money. 2. If you don't change, you will be eliminated. 3. It's really important to learn to speak well. 4. Try to control your emotions and don't indulge in sadness. 5. Don't be conceited. Don't think too much and do little. 6. Don't rely too much on others. You can only rely on yourself.

Psychological tricks that is useful to know

If you want your friend to carry something, just keep talking to them while handing them the bag. Most people will automatically take the bag without thinking. Whenever you have to meet a decision, don’t just ask people if they want to, give them a choice that lies within the frame of your decision. You’ll be surprised how this little hack will help you to avoid arguing with other people. If someone is having a joke at your expense, act as if you didn’t hear the joke correctly. Ask them to repeat it for you, or ask them to explain what is so funny about it. Having to explain a joke is even worse than having to repeat it. If your aim is to get close to someone, try addressing them by their first names. You’ll find that the person responds to you instinctively. Take care as to not overuse this trick as it may backfire at times. When you need to confront someone without offending them with the aim of getting the job done, try using passive voice. You could say, “The meeting was not fi...

Edit: Looks and money are important an...

How to figure out person if they are matured enough or not?

Maturity is not measured by age, it’s an attitude built by experiences of growing. Here are 10 traits of a mature person. Comfortable being alone:  They are comfortable being on their own and don’t always need friends or people around them. Accept differences:  They accept that everyone is different and will have different opinions. They don’t need everyone to think or act as they do. Emotional Independence:  They are not dependent financially or emotionally on their parents. They tend to make their own life decisions. Treating others right:  They don’t put someone down or make fun of someone because that’s not how they get their self-esteem. They are already confident in themselves. What's the best best thing that you have read today?

This what it is:- She said, “Hi handsome. My name is Rose. I’m eighty-seven years old. Can I give you a hug?” I laughed and enthusiastically responded, “Of course you may!” and she gave me a giant squeeze. “Why are you in college at such a young, innocent age?” I asked. She jokingly replied, “I’m here to meet a rich husband, get married, and have a couple of kids…” “No seriously,” I asked. I was curious what may have motivated her to be taking on this challenge at her age. “I always dreamed of having a college education and now I’m getting one!” she told me. After class we walked to the student union building and shared a chocolate milkshake. We became instant friends. Every day for the next three months, we would leave class together and talk non-stop. I was always mesmerized listening to this “time machine” as she shared her wisdom and experience with me. Over the course of the year, Rose became a campus icon and she easily made friends wherever she went. She loved to dress up and she...

Why do new generation kids hate reading books?

Because schools teach them that reading is boring. When my first son was little, he loved books. He loved stories from the time he could focus his little eyes on my face. I read to him every night, and it was his favourite thing in the world. By the time he was three, all he wanted in the world was to be able to read by himself because books were the bestest things in the whole wide world. But, to be clear, I was reading him good books. I carefully chose picture books based on the story. I wanted books with an interesting narrative. Books with conflict and resolution. Books that engaged his imagination and made him want to live in the world of the story. The pictures were always secondary — they that added to the story, yes, but they weren’t the drawcard. When he was four, my son’s favourite book was a children’s version of Beowulf. He wanted to grow up big and strong so he could defeat Grendel and Grendel’s mother. For his fifth birthday I bought him a copy of The Lion, The Witch,...
